Birmingham Land Bank Authority Update on COVID-19

The Birmingham Land Bank Authority(BLBA) remains committed to its goal of putting problem properties back into productive use and empowering citizens to take charge of their neighborhoods in the City of Birmingham.

During this unprecedented COVID-19 Public Health Emergency, the Birmingham Land Bank Authority staff continues to work on projects and tasks necessary and proper to the continued operation. For the foreseeable future, our team will be working remotely. Our Attorneys continue to work on quiet title actions as they can. Obviously, there will be delays as we rely on a multitude of parties to carry out our operations. Please, bear with us.

We have suspended all in person office visits and engagements. If you have inquiries related to existing contracts and applications between you and the BLBA, please submit your inquiry, with specifics, at www.birminghamlandbank.org/contact/ . Applicants and purchasers, with active agreements, that do not have access to the web may call our offices at 205.254.2414. Please leave a message and we will get back with you as soon as possible.

There were several informational sessions scheduled for the next 6 weeks. We are postponing them until CDC recommendations permit gatherings again.
